For Android you can use the Google Play store by searching for Floodgate App or by using the Download page. We support Android 4.4 and above. Android 6+ is recommended.
For iOS you must use floodgateapp.com/download and also ‘Trust Developer’ in the device settings. Full instructions are on floodgateapp.com/download. You cannot find our app in the iOS App Store so you can avoid the 30% commission Apple receives from that store.
The Donate form can be found by clicking Donate in the top right.
There are two primary navigations within the App. Firstly on the homepage you will find Activity, Inbox and Analytics tabs. The second navigation can be found by selecting the avatar in the bottom left corner.
The donate form has been optimised to work both online and offline. You will see a no signal icon in the top right when no signal is available. Offline donors can be synced later when a signal or Wi-Fi is restored by swiping down on the homepage. You will see the status update on the Inbox tab when synchronisation is successful.
Using the bottom menu whilst on the donate page allows you to Change User, Change Campaign, adjust font size and brightness and Language.
On the bottom right corner of the Donate form you will see a camera icon. This allows you to take a photo of the donor. After the photo has been created you will be asked to confirm the usage rights of Internal, External or Personal Use. This image will be displayed in Donor Manager.
To save a draft donor, leave the payment section (page 2) with no modifications and click the Next arrow. You will be prompted to either go back and Add Payment or adjust the incorrect payment information. Click Save Draft if you wish to complete this donation later. To add payment details at a later date, navigate to the Inbox page, locate the draft and click the row to reveal the phone number and add payment icon. You can see additional phone numbers by clicking on the phone number of the dropdown. Here you can also add a notification message for another team member on the righthand side.
The activity page is the homepage. You can adjust the date range by using the calendar to the right of this menu. You will see Today, This week etc. You will see your recent feed appear as records are submitted. Once a location has been assigned to the team those users will see a Roster section. This includes Permits, Location Details and Record Holder information. The tracker can be filtered between Individual and Team depending on your User Level.
Here you can see a record of submitted and un-submitted records. Donors in Draft status can be clicked on to reveal phone number, add payment popup and add user notification tag.
Review attrition data, gender and demographic breakdown as-well as data quality and payment types.
This displays the total reported records the user has created since user creation. You can also review average amount and percentage of donors over the age of 30.

From time to time you will be prompted to Install the latest version. This will be displayed as a Push Notification or a Pop up once you log in. Each time you return to the homepage you will be prompted to update. This is highly recommended.
