Payment data is validated in real-time as it is entered into the signup form. It is providing multi-layer validation, so it is hard to add incorrect data into Floodgate.
You will receive an error if you add the amount that is not permitted for your campaign. If the amount you added is below the payable threshold but above the threshold to be accepted, then you can submit the form with the amount but the form will be treated as Gift (not payable). If the amount is below the threshold to be accepted, then you cannot submit the form without fixing the amount.
When you add a bank account # and click another field, bank name and branch are populated automatically. Please double check the account numbers if they are NOT populated.
Floodgate offers card number validation based on algorithm at the minimum, so that any mistype can be found straight after the data addition. Floodgate also provides payment gateway integration allowing for a range of other credit card validation services including Pre-Auth ($1 is taken from the account and it is returned to the account in a week or so automatically. With this method, bank approval code is retrieved and returned to you straight after the data addition) and POS (Point of Sale) Payments. Level of integration is different depending on each campaign. Please confirm with your admin staff which level of validation is available with your campaign.
Can't you add the card details although you typed everything perfectly and the card is usable according to the donor? It is highly possible that the card is not suitable for such type of payment. You are seeing the possible future cancellation at the time of signup. Please ask for alternative payment details before you let the donor go.
