Users can be added by following the below procedure on Floodgate:
Go to User Management > Users and click + beside the search box.
Enter the user information. The username you set here will be the username to be used by the staff to login to Floodgate. It does not have to be the staff's actual name. Email Address is mandatory because it is used to verify the user.
The password that you set here is NOT going to be used by the user. It is a temporary password to be used until the user sets their own password. If you would like to create a password with certain complexity, click on the key button beside the password field. Then, a unique and complex password is given in the Password field.
When you fill in all the required information, click Save and the user is created.
TIP: It can take time to collect all the detailed user information such as their photo. You can send a login email to the user at this point and the user can start to login to Floodgate.
Find the newly created staff in the Active Users tab and click on the name of the user. Add more detailed information such as the photo, department, role, default coach, default manager, employee ID, company name and user restrictions.
TIP: Click the headings (Status, Department, etc) to filter the user list.
When all the information is added, click Save and the profile window closes. Find the staff member again and click on the 'Send Login' button near the right end of the table. Now the staff member can click the link on the login email in their email account and start to login to Floodgate.
