Data is validated in real-time as it's entered into the Donate Pages.
On page 1 as you type the address a list of applicable postal addresses will appear.
If you can’t find the address you are looking for simply click ‘enter manually’ and enter the data into the input boxes below.
Welcome SMS can be sent direct from page 1 of the donate form by clicking on the envelope icon next to Mobile Phone. If this isn’t clicked, the SMS is automatically sent once the sign up process is complete. Read #Donor Manager Logs for more on SMS open rates.
Amount and Frequency
Choose the amount and frequency of the payment from the drop down boxes. These are pre-defined in Campaign Settings.
Choose the payment method and by clicking the toggle to Credit Card or Bank Account. Floodgate auto populates the Name on Card or Bank Account Name from the details entered in page 1.
Once the bank account is entered, a tick will appear to show it’s valid and the Bank Name and Branch will be auto-populated.
Floodgate provides payment gateway integration allowing for a range of credit card services. Including Tokenisation, Pre-Auth ($1 authentication), Instant POS (Point of Sale) Payments, Automated Recurring Plans, Automated failed payment retries.
Page 3 is where the customer signs the agreement and completes the process by agreeing to the terms and conditions.
TIP: Skipping Page 2 and clicking save after a customer has signed the agreement but not entered their payment details will create a "Draft" record in Donor Manager. Payment details can be added later in Donor Manager.
The last page of the Donate form asks for customer feedback through an input box and by choosing a star rating out of 5. This information, while not mandatory, is displayed in the customer logs in Donor Manager.
