Secure Export is only visible to Admin and Office level users. The Secure Export folder is found under Folders in the Navigation Bar.
When data is “Activated” in Donor Manager it becomes available in the secure export folder. The Secure Export page batches active data by campaign and displays the history of previously exported batches.
To export data click the info button that corresponds with your chosen batch. A pop up will appear summarising the batched data. Either review the data by clicking the eye icon or download using the export icon.
A .zip file will be downloaded and an automatically generated encryption key sent the owners of the folder. Set up who receives the encryption key, go to #app settings.
The .zip file usually contains two file, a csv data file and folder container all customer agreements that have been sent to the payment gateways. Learn how to map your secure export file, #here.

How do I prepare data for Secure Export?
Changing the Status of a record to "Welcome Call. Contact Made." turns the record from Pending to Active. Once you are happy the data is correct and complete, press the "Activate" button at the top logs column. The data record will now appear in your Secure Export folder and the button will change to read "Ready for Export"
Why do I need to Activate data?
Data not activated in Donor Manger will not appear in Secure Export and can only be downloaded via internal export. Learn how to map your internal export file #here.
Do I need to use Secure Export?
In most cases, secure export is only needed when you are transferring data to a client or internal application. This is encrypted data that can only be opened by the encryption key holders.
Can I still view the Secure Export Data in Donor Manager.
Yes. Exporting data does not remove it from Donor Manager. It appear as normal and still be edited. Exported data is marked in Donor Manager with an Exported Batch ID badge.
