User restrictions can be added from 3 different places on Floodgate. One place is in App Setting (only Admin people can access it), the other place is in Field Manager > Teams Beta and lastly in User Management > Users. In summary, the user restrictions can be applied to:
- the whole campaign (App setting)
- each team (Field Manager > Teams beta)
- each staff (User Management > Users)
The rule is that the harshest restrictions in the 1-3 above will apply to each staff.
Let's imagine that the 'Email Mandatory' is turned off in the App setting. However, the 'Email Mandatory' is turned on for a team from Teams beta. This means that the all the staff under the team HAVE TO provide an email address to save the pledge form as the harshest rule is to make the provision of the 'Email Mandatory'.
To modify the user restrictions from Teams beta, find or create a team to apply the restrictions from Field Manager > Team beta. Go to the Team Restrictions around the bottom of the right pane, edit it and press Save.
Email Mandatory: Users under this team cannot save the pledge form without adding an email address.
Minimum Age: Pledge forms with the donor below the minimum age specified in this field will come in as non-chargeable (Gift) pledge.
Restrict Age: Pledge forms with the donor below the minimum age specified in the 'Minimum Age' field will be banned - the pledge form cannot be submitted.
